We invite you to head over to the prints section of the website to check out four recently printed lithographic editions from Portland-based artist Eva Lake.
Eva completed a two-week printmaking residency with Master Printer Frank Janzen in October 2011.
For each of the editions, Janzen employed a technique called a rainbow roll, by which multiple inks are blended together on the roller and the plate.
You can read more from our previous blog post here.
You can also watch short video interview with the artist, embedded below. Eva talks about her diverse background in the arts and the “Patti Smith model” for an artist.
She also discusses how her recent oil paintings inspired her prints.
Eva’s was the second of an ongoing series of “Golden Spot” residencies funded by The Ford Family Foundation and spotlighting mid-career Oregon artists.
Each of the editions will be available in about two weeks (or as soon as the artist signs the prints).

(In case you missed it, be sure to check out the recently uploaded prints and video from artist Storm Tharp.)
Eva is represented in Portland at Augen Gallery.
