This two-day monotype workshop is for Saturday and Sunday, March 13 and 14. Each session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We will be working off Plexiglas plates and will be employing two etching and two lithography presses, giving artists options for a variety of sizes and techniques, such as the additive method, subtractive method, stencil work, transfer of graphite drawings to the print and use of various other materials. Planning the print, accurate registration, proper tearing of paper, inking and roller techniques will all be covered.
Tuition is only $180. This includes all materials, inks and plenty of paper off cuts of a variety of sizes. Additional full sheets of paper are available at our cost, typically between $2.50 to $2.80 per 22’’ x 30’’ sheet.
