Biography
Unalphabetic #3 (uncrushable), 2012
Boas is from Portland, Oregon. Her work has been shown at the Portland Art Museum, the Art Gym, the Boise Art Museum, and elsewhere throughout the Northwest. In addition to her visual work, Boas has written articles and reviews for Art Papers, artUS and was a contributing editor for Artweek from 2002 to 2006. Boas earned a B.F.A. in printmaking from the Pacific Northwest College Art, as well as an M.F.A. in painting from Portland State University, where she works as an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the M.F.A. in Contemporary Art Practice/Studio program.
