Ric Gendron lives in Spokane, WA, and has been a professional artist for over 25 years, best known for his vibrant acrylic paintings. He paints every day and his work is a mixture of traditional images and dances melded with American rock and pop culture. He has exhibited his work in galleries, museums and group shows from Portland to New York, and is actively involved in the Santa Fe Indian Market (Santa Fe, NM) and the Heard Museum Show (Phoenix, AZ).

Ric entered one print from his “A Quiltsten Song” series of monoprints into the 2010 Santa Fe Indian Market juried show and won blue ribbon for best of printmaking and a blue ribbon for best of division, which included other two-dimensional work. These are the first prints that he has done in 25 years.
